Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that is triggered by the change of seasons. It is most commonly noticed during the fall when the bright summer days are ending. This condition tends to appear when people are stuck indoors, and the daylight hours are decreasing. Seasonal affective disorder is not just simply being down because of the winter season.
