About
I offer professional family therapy as well as Christian counseling for children, teens, adult individuals, and couples. Whether you’re looking for support related to ASD/ADD, adjustment disorders, parental support, anxiety, depression, anger management, or other difficult emotions or painful life events, my goal is to establish a treatment plan to meet your needs and walk with you through the healing process. In my practice, I incorporate several therapeutic approaches based on each client’s situation to facilitate the most effective treatment for your needs. With God’s help and direction, lasting hope and recovery are possible. I look forward to watching Him work in your life through Christian counseling.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goals as a Christian counselor include helping my clients find strength in their faith and ultimately increase the peace they feel in their daily lives. Each individual is different, and I aim to meet each client where they are to establish a treatment plan that will meet their unique needs. I am humbled that God chooses to use me in my line of work to break chains and help lead clients to freedom from anxiety, depression, and other concerns that may be weighing them down.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, compassionate space where clients can feel safe, heard, and at ease, as if talking with a close friend. I enjoy the process of getting to know my clients, and I work to build trust from the moment I first meet with them. Clients can expect an individualized approach based on their own unique needs and preferences. In my practice, I seek to weave in different interventions and a direct approach including a balance of “seriousness” with levity to challenge my clients towards growth.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
One significant benefit of Christian-based counseling is that it is open to being led by the Holy Spirit, especially by incorporating prayer, which brings divine wisdom as well as strength that cannot be found in solely human efforts. As it says in the Bible, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Mathew 18:20). Being able to experience God’s presence in healing as well as His guidance is extremely powerful.
